With growing concerns around lifestyle diseases, climate change, and food security, TDU’s Food Futures programs equip students to develop solutions that are not only scientifically robust but also socially relevant and ecologically responsible.

M.Sc. Life Sciences (Multiple Specialisations)

At The University of Trans-disciplinary Health Sciences and Technology (TDU), we are redefining life science education by bridging the gap between traditional knowledge and modern science. Our flagship program, the M.Sc. Life Sciences (Ayurveda Biology), equips you with the knowledge and skills to become a pioneer in healthcare. Other specialisations include Ethnobotany, Plant Systematics, Bioinformatics and Functional Genomics, and Ayurveda Pharmacognosy.

M.Sc. Ethnobotany (by Research)

The M.Sc. Ethnobotany (by Research) is a postgraduate program that focuses on the dynamic relationships between human societies and plant diversity. The program is designed to provide students with a strong interdisciplinary foundation, integrating principles from ethnobotany, anthropology, plant taxonomy and ecology..

B.Sc. (Hons) / B.Sc. (Hons with Research)

Flexible options to explore the lifesciences, food and health futures, conservation practice, and many other areas, and to prepare for a career in research

Students interested in a Masters degree can choose to stay on for an additional year and gain either a MSc Lifesciences or MSc Food Futures degree, with a choice of specialisations; or opt for a MSc by Research program in one of the many specalisations that are listed on TDU’s website

M.Sc. Life Sciences (Ayurveda Biology)

MSc by Research in Food Science, Nutrition & Health

This degree program equips students with the knowledge framework and tools for an integrative approach to nutrition and health demands.

The program explores Trans-Disciplinary research on key themes of food and public health relevant to rural and urban India like iron deficiency anaemia, type-2-diabetes, brain health, gut health, protein sufficiency and more with an aim for developing food and nutrition solutions for clinics and communities.

M.Sc. Environmental Studies (Conservation Practice)

The MSc in Environmental Studies in association with ATREE, focuses on conservation practices, combining natural and social sciences. Graduates gain skills for roles in NGOs, CSR, and sustainability. Total fee: ₹ 5,00,000.

M.Sc. by Research - Bioinformatics & Functional Genomics

This course covers DNA science, genomics, NGS, bioinformatics, and more. Open to diverse backgrounds, it prepares students for careers in the booming genomics and bioinformatics industries. Total fee: ₹2,25,000.

M.Sc. by Research - Plant Systematics

This M.Sc. in Plant Taxonomy equips Life Science graduates with skills in systematics, evolution, and genetics. Ideal for nature lovers, it prepares for careers in research and conservation. Total fee: ₹2,25,000.

PG Diploma in Ayurveda Biology

TDU's PG Diploma in Ayurveda Biology blends modern science with Ayurvedic principles, equipping graduates for careers in healthcare, research, and product development. Total fee: ₹1,70,000.

Post Graduate Diploma in Sustainability Management

The PG Diploma in Sustainability Management is designed for future leaders who want to address pressing ecological and social challenges through practical, field-based solutions. Students engage directly with communities and biodiversity-rich landscapes, developing hands-on skills in sustainability, climate action, and natural resource management.

PG Diploma in Medical Lab Technology

Pursue a PG Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (PGDMLT) after your B.Sc. Gain hands-on training in lab techniques and blood collection. Total fees: ₹49,000 for one year!

PG Diploma in Functional Genomics and Bioinformatics

Join TDU and Pupilfirst.org's AI-focused Full Stack Development courses! Start with WD 101 (free) and advance to WD 201 and WD 301 for in-demand skills in web development and Generative AI. Fee: Rs 1179 + Rs 399/month.

Environmental Sustainability and Climate Change

45 hours, online

Join a 45-hour, 3-credit course on "Environmental Sustainability and Climate Change." Open to UG, PG, and PhD students. Classes every Friday and Saturday. Fee: Rs. 3000. Starts 24th February 2024.

Internship in Ayurveda Dietetics
