About the Course
India has a rich repertoire of foods seeped with traditional knowledge. Today, the line between traditional home practices and Ayurveda is sometimes blurred. The former is what we know culturally and intuitively; the latter is a codified medical knowledge system. How do these intersect and what concepts can we use for dietetics today?
This course is for knowledge seekers who want to know the answer to this question. We will discuss what is written in the classical texts and share our interpretation of how Ayurveda first principles in food concepts are applicable for personalising diets.
Open to all knowledge-seekers regardless of age or educational background. High school biology and ability to understand English are the only requisites.
The content has been designed keeping in mind the curriculum that Indian undergraduate students in food, nutrition and dietetics are exposed to. If you are not sure if this course is for you, please email email@example.com with your background information.
