The Traditional Knowledge, Data Sciences, and Informatics Department is dedicated to preserving and advancing traditional knowledge using modern technological tools and scientific methodologies. Recognizing that much of this knowledge has been passed down orally, our work focuses on documenting, digitizing, and analyzing this invaluable heritage to ensure its longevity and continued relevance.
We emphasize the integration of data science and informatics with traditional practices to create repositories, databases, and platforms for systematic recording and utilization. Our goal is to preserve the essence of traditional knowledge, validate it scientifically, and apply it innovatively while maintaining respect for its origins.
