I amp leased to read the citation for an outstanding physician of the caliber of Vd.Ramesh Nanal.

This D.Littis in recognition of, Vaidya Ramesh Nanal’s lifelong contributions to clinical practice as a Vaidyaraj and his interpretation of the Ayurveda Shastra in the light of its own theoretical foundations. His literary contributions by way of scholarly books and numerous articles on clinical dimensions of Ayurveda, food and nutrition and the classic work on ‘MANA ANI AYURVED’, have benefited students and teachers for decades.

Vaidya Nanal has experimented with the use of metals in development and enhancement of agriculture and has added to the classical MATERIA MEDICA by his characterization of a bryophylum as per principles of dravya guna Shastra

Vaidya Nanal has contributed extensively to the revival of tribal medicine and local health traditions in India.
