Every year on July 1st, India observes National Doctors' Day to pay tribute to the unwavering service, compassion, and commitment of doctors across the country.
I am presently registered as a PhD student at Centre for Conservation of Natural Resources (CCNR), TDU under the joint Supervision of Dr. Chetan H. C., Associate Professor, CCNR and Dr. N. A. Aravind, Fellow (Associate Professor)/ Convenor, Suri Sehgal Centre for Biodiversity & Conservation, Ashoka Trust for Research in Ecology & the Environment (ATREE), Bangalore. I am trying to study the impact of climate change on butterfly biodiversity in the Kashmir Himalayas. Before this, I did my Master’s degree (Integrated B.Sc. M.Sc.) in Zoology from Central University of Kashmir, Ganderbal in 2020 and qualified GATE in Life Science in the same year. I have worked on research projects on various subjects like Butterflies, Odonata, Health, etc. I am a Commission Member of various Commissions, Specialist Groups, of IUCN, Switzerland.
