Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Bhopal. I was introduced to Paleoclimate research during my bachelors and it struck a chord in me. I started following
the research closely and was fortunate enough to do my master’s dissertation on paleoclimate studies and reconstruction. My interest in climate change, its mitigation, and sustainability however encouraged me to look out for opportunities that would involve a more recent time scale than the billions, especially when the human element was introduced into the picture. This search ended when I was provided the opportunity to work with Dr. Ramya Bala on paleo vegetation and climate reconstruction of Mudumalai Nation park of the late Holocene
