Jalagam Anjaneyulu obtained a master’s degree in biotechnology from Bangalore University. He has a decade-long experience in the research field and is pursuing a PhD in investigating the efficacy and mode of action of Ayurvedic nootropic formulations on neurodegenerative diseases like Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s Disease models of Caenorhabditis elegans. His research aims to bridge the traditional wisdom of Ayurveda with modern scientific methodologies to identify and understand the neuroprotective effect of specific Ayurvedic herbs and formulations. He has been recognized and awarded through senior research fellowships by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) and Tata Educational Trust. He has published research articles, review articles, and book chapters in esteemed journals.
