Dr Leena Chandran Wadia holds a PhD in Physics from IISc Bangalore and has conducted research at institutions like NCST (now CDAC), TIFR, IIT Bombay, ETH Zurich, CERN, and EPFL. She has also worked in public policy at the Observer Research Foundation Mumbai and served as Senior VP and CTO at Netcore Cloud Pvt. Ltd. Notably, she was part of the technical secretariat for the Dr Kasturirangan committee and contributed to drafting India’s National Education Policy (NEP) 2019, which led to NEP 2020.
