Dr. M. A. Alwar is a Professor of Nyāyaśāstra at Govt. Maharaja’s Sanskrit College, Mysuru, and Adjunct Facutly at Transdisciplinary University, Bengaluru, where he leads projects in manuscript cataloging, editing, publishing, and curriculum development in Āyurveda. A distinguished scholar, he has authored numerous monographs and articles and has presented extensively on Darśaṇās in academic forums. Actively engaged in both research and traditional vidvat-sabhās, he bridges classical and contemporary scholarship.Recognized with honors including the Śāstra-ratnākara award by Rāmāñjaneya Veda-pāṭhaśālā, he is a member of several academic bodies. Passionate about Vedic outreach, he develops multimedia and web-based programs for children.Dr. Alwar specializes in Navya-nyāya, Prācīna-nyāya, Viśiṣṭādvaita-vedānta, Manuscriptology, Lexicography, and the application of ancient Indian scientific concepts to modern science, particularly Computer Science. He is also a visiting faculty member at MIT School of Vedic Sciences, where he teaches Vedas and Nyāya.
