About the Youth Network
The Youth Network is a community of young changemakers brought together through the India Food Systems Transformation Hackathon 2026. The network aims to nurture collaboration, learning and collective action among youth who are passionate about building sustainable, equitable and resilient food systems in India.
By enrolling in the hackathon, participants automatically become members of this Youth Network, gaining access to ongoing learning opportunities, peer connections and platforms for advocacy.

Objectives of the Youth Network
1. Connection & Community Development
Build a strong, pan-India community of youth working on food systems transformation
Enable peer-to-peer learning, collaboration and mutual support
Create a safe and inclusive space for dialogue, reflection and collective problem-solving
2. Skill Development
Strengthen technical, leadership and systems-thinking skills related to food systems
Provide exposure by experts, practitioners and innovators through curated sessions
Encourage hands-on learning through activities, discussions and collaborative challenges
3. Advocacy & Social Change
Empower youth to become informed advocates for sustainable food systems
Support youth-led initiatives and ideas emerging from the hackathon
Connect individual action to broader food systems and social change movements

How to Enroll in the Network
All participants of the India Food Systems Transformation Hackathon 2026 are automatically enrolled in this Youth Network. If you were unable to participate in the hackathon but would still like to be part of this community, you are warmly welcome to register using this link.
The Youth Network is open to current students who are enrolled in an Indian college or university and pursuing a Diploma, Bachelor, Master, or PhD program. If this applies to you, we would be delighted to have you join us.
As part of the network, members will have access to:
WhatsApp Group – for quick communication and updates
Google Classroom – for structured information, resources, session links and recordings
Monthly Online Gatherings – including expert webinars, interactive activities and community discussions
Network Activities & Engagement
Monthly Gatherings: Expert talks, skill-building workshops and interactive sessions
Community Activities: Challenges, reflections and peer-led discussions
Knowledge Sharing: Access to curated resources and learning materials
The first online gathering of the Youth Network will take place on the 16th February 2026.
