Collaboration with a Savitribai Phule Pune University
India has a rich tradition of health practices like Ayurveda, Yoga, Siddha, Unani and Sowa Rigpa systems. Importance of transdisciplinary scientific research to understand and validate the integrative health practices into medical practice and public health has been globally recognize.
The Savitribai Phule Pune University has established ‘Center for Complementary and Integrative Health’ (CCIH) at the Interdisciplinary School of Health Sciences to promote high quality scientific research, collaborative consortia, teaching, training, extension, policy, analysis, advocacy and translation.
