Programme Manager, Coexistence Champions

As a Programme Manager for 'Coexistence Champions', an initiative to support individuals grow and amplify voices on coexistence. Stella James is a lawyer and storyteller with 12 years of work experience in environmental justice and conservation.
Stella James work with the Coexistence Champions involves coordinating all operational aspects and supporting programmatic work along with the PIs. The Champions programme is hosted at the Coexistence Studies Group in TDU, and works with individuals across India who are already working on coexistence to amplify their voices and stories to lead paradigm shift. Stella James background is in law, with a B.A.LLB (Hons) from National University of Juridical Sciences and Masters in Environmental Law from the University of Melbourne. She work at the intersections of law, sociology, storytelling and art and design with the aim to center local communities in environmental decision making.
