Shripad Goenka

Shripad is a biotechnology graduate from St Joseph's University Bangalore

Shripad has worked across a wide range of conservation initiatives, from organizing India’s premier nature and photography festival to serving as a Research Assistant with WCS–India. His work has spanned consortium building, extensive literature reviews on marine megafauna bycatch, leading navigation for marine mammal surveys, and conducting geospatial analyses of fisheries and megafauna distributions. More recently, he has focused on designing and coordinating outreach materials and events that bridge science and public engagement. He believes that impactful conservation rests on a strong administrative foundation and is committed to strengthening the Coexistence Champions Programme by supporting its projects and people to their fullest potential.
