Pratyush Pran Sarma is a PhD Scholar at the University of Trans-Disciplinary Health Sciences and Technology (TDU), Bengaluru. His research interests include the socio-political conflicts and governance in the North-Eastern States of India, and understanding the varying dimensions of insurgencies in those states. He is particularly focused on the impact of ethnic movements and state policies on social exclusion and identity formation in the region
