He collaborates closely with global institutions, including the WHO Alliance for Health Policy and Systems Research, and serves as Vice-Chair of the General Council at ITM Antwerp. He also played a key role in founding long-term learning sites with Adivasi communities, the Kaanu platform for Indigenous scholarship, and India’s Evidence into Public Health Policy (EPHP) forum. Outside academia, Dr. Prashanth is a passionate advocate of open knowledge and citizen science, contributing extensively to Wikipedia, iNaturalist, and eBird. A naturalist at heart, he believes in linking ecological and human health to achieve social justice and sustainability.
