Pakgam Ngulom Lendo, a PhD research scholar at FRLH Herbarium, TDU Bengaluru. I belong to the Galo tribe of Lower Siang district, Arunachal Pradesh, Northeast India.
Her research interests lie in plant systematics, ethnobotany and biodiversity documentation, with a focus on the Eastern Himalayan flora.
Beside plants, I have a keen interest in trekking, butterflies and love travelling, especially to the mountains. I believe that understanding and documenting biodiversity is one of the most meaningful contributions a biologist can make.
Pakgam Ngulom Lendo is a first year PhD scholar at FRLH Herbarium, working under the supervision of Dr. S. Noorunnissa Begum and co-supervised by Dr. G. Ravikanth (ATREE). Prior to joining TDU, she worked as a Project Associate on a DRDO-funded project on wild edible plants of Arunachal Pradesh. She holds an MSc in Botany from Rajiv Gandhi University. Her research interests include plant systematics, ethnobotany, floristics and biodiversity documentation of Northeast India.
