Vaidya. Narendra Pendse has completed his graduation (1991) & post graduation ( 1994) in Kayachikitsa from the Tilak Ayurveda Mahavidyalaya,Pune.
Vaidya. Narendra Pendse was fortunate to have trained under respected Vaidya. B. P. Nanal in Pune & Vaidya. V.B. Mhaiskar of Vadodara. His clinical training & insights into applied Ayurveda Tatwa were further nourished by working at Tarachand Hospital as an Assistant Physician with Vd. Vilas Nanal for 24 years. He taught bedside decision making to Graduate and Post graduates for the last almost 30 years at Tarachand Hospital. He enjoys teaching “Clinical application of Ayurvediya Shastra Sootras”.
In recognition of his contribution as a fine teacher instilling independent thought with Shastriya basis; he was awarded the Best Teacher Award by Maharshi. Annasaheb Patwardhan Pratishthan, Pune in 2008. He was also bestowed the "Karyabhushan Puraskaar" by his alma mater - the Rashtriya Shikshan Mandal in 2013.
Vaidya. Narendra Pendse is a member of the Governing Council at Transdisciplinary University, Bangalore & is Chief Medical Advisor to the IAIM Hospital, Bangalore. Earlier he was Research Committee Member at Deenanath Mangeshkar Hospital, Pune.
Recently, in recognition of his Clinical teaching, he was honored as "Professor of Practice " by the TDU - as per the new UGC guidelines.
He has given more than 180 guest lectures on various clinical subjects in reputed Institutions in India & abroad. He regularly conducts Seminars & Workshops on specific Ayurvedic topics at various centers in India and the US for doctors & laypersons
