Dr Vikram Balu

Dr. Vikram Balu is a dedicated Medical Officer in the Department of Shalyatantra at I-AIM, where he has been serving since 2015. With over a decade of clinical experience, his expertise lies in surgery and para-surgery (Shalyatantra). He has successfully treated numerous patients with non-healing ulcers, fistula in-ano, piles, varicose veins, and other surgical conditions. Notably, he has effectively managed cases of fistula in-ano using the Ksharasootra procedure.Dr. Vikram is also actively involved in research and protocol development. He has contributed to establishing Whole Systems Ayurveda management protocols for chronic Urinary Tract Infections in women. Additionally, his team has worked on integrative approaches for wound management, including diabetic wounds. His commitment to evidence-based Ayurveda and integrative healing continues to enhance patient outcomes.
