Dr Sam Pitroda

Dr. Sam Pitroda is the co-founder of The University of Trans-Disciplinary Health Sciences and Technology (TDU), a private university located in Bengaluru, along with Darshan Shankar. He served as Founding Chancellor and Chairman of the Board of Governors of the University until October 2025, when he stepped down. He has contributed extensively to modernizing India's healthcare system by integrating traditional health sciences and practices with Western scientific approaches and technologies. TDU aims to bridge the gap between these two domains through an epistemologically informed framework, enhancing healthcare delivery and education in the country.
