Dr. Navendu is a naturalist and plant enthusiast studying why species differ across regions. He has spent two decades documenting India’s flora and developing resources to make plant identification easier
Dr Navendu fascinated by the sheer diversity of life around and interested in finding answers to - Why different types and numbers of species are found in different places? He have been interested in nature and wildlife since his early schooling days, largely because of his mother, travelling with whom he got an early exposure to the diverse habitats and ecosystems of India. Although my interests span across a wide range of taxonomic groups, I am especially interested in plants. He has spent the last two decades exploring plants across the Western Ghats, Himalayas and the Andaman Islands. He devotes a significant time observing and photographing plants and He is keen on developing user friendly resources for plant identification
