He serves as an Assistant Professor at the University of Trans-Disciplinary Health Sciences and Technology (TDU) and is a Senior Fellow in Translation Studies at the Foundation for Study of Indian Culture (FSIC), Bengaluru.
Dr. Hoshea Harshith Joseph is a teacher and researcher specializing in Translation Studies, with more than ten years of teaching and research experience. He is currently Assistant Professor at the University of Trans-Disciplinary Health Sciences and Technology (TDU) and Senior Fellow in Translation Studies at the Foundation for Study of Indian Culture (FSIC), Bengaluru. He has previously served as Assistant Professor at various Universities in Bengaluru and as a Fellow at the India Studies Unit, Center for Educational and Social Studies (CESS).
Dr. Joseph holds a Ph.D. in Translation Studies from Tumkur University (2021). His research explores the elements that constitute the problem of translation and further investigates the complex relationship which exists between language, human experience and knowledge. He has presented papers and lectures at leading academic forums and has co-authored several publications on translation and Indian knowledge systems. His work seeks to deepen the understanding of how linguistic and cultural frameworks shape the transmission of knowledge across traditions.
