Dr. Chaithrika G K, an Ayurveda physician and ethnobotanist with an MD in Dravyaguna Vignana. My career is driven by a deep commitment to bridging the ancient wisdom of Ayurveda with modern conservation practices. My work involves the scientific study and documentation of native plants, focusing on their medicinal utility, ecological impact, and sustainable management. I have hands-on experience in biodiversity studies, eco-landscaping, and establishing medicinal plant gardens across India. I am passionate about education and outreach, regularly serving as a resource person to train forest communities, students, and professionals. Through my writing, including a series of articles for 'Heritage - Amruth' magazine, and media appearances, I strive to make knowledge of medicinal plants accessible to all. My special interests also include wildlife documentation and the rescue of native epiphytes and birds.
