Dr Banlambhabok Khongthaw having research experience in food processing, food waste valorization, bioactive compound extraction, microencapsulation, and sustainable food packaging. I am passionate about research and innovation in food technology and interested in developing sustainable and functional food products through scientific approaches.
Dr Banlambhabok Khongthaw having research experience in food processing, extraction and characterization of bioactive compounds, microencapsulation, and sustainable food packaging. My doctoral research focused on the extraction, optimization, characterization, and microencapsulation of lycopene from tomato processing waste, with an emphasis on value addition and sustainable utilization of food industry by-products. I have experience in experimental design, laboratory analysis, optimization of processing conditions, development and characterization of edible films, and evaluation of functional and antioxidant properties. I am also familiar with techniques such as FTIR, FESEM, UV-Visible spectroscopy, and antioxidant assays. My research interests include functional foods, food waste valorization, bioactive compounds, food packaging, and sustainable food technologies. I am motivated to contribute to multidisciplinary research projects, develop innovative solutions, publish high-quality research, and continuously expand my technical and scientific expertise.
