Project Title: Pratiksha Trust Grant for Ayurveda Neurobiology Research
Project Duration: till July 2024
Job Summary:
Responsible for MRI related experiments, data analysis and interpretation, writing manuscripts, guiding and teaching research scholars about MRI techniques and its applications.
Qualification:
PhD degree in Life sciences / Physics / Biomedical Sciences / Biophysics / neuroscience or related field from a recognized university.
Should possess a minimum of 60% (or equivalent CGPA) marks in MSc
Experience:
Previous experience in neuroimaging / MRI related experiments, especially in the fMRI techniques.
Experience in neuro-cognitive assessments (desired)
Publication(s) in highly reputed journals demonstrating outstanding research potential of the candidate.
Help mentor/graduate students in the lab.
Skills:
Experience in Human MRI system handling / MRI data acquisition and neuro-cognitive assessments (desired)
Knowledge of statistical analysis software like SPSS, R for processing of multivariate data analysis.
MRI data analysis software knowledge (MATLAB, LCModel, SPM, FSL, Freesurfer, CONN)
Manuscript and grant writing
Job Responsibilities:
Contribute in clinical research projects
MRI Data acquisition, analysis and interpretation.
Teaching research scholars MRI techniques and its applications.
Writing research proposal for funding.
Assist the PI and Co-PI with any other requirements related to the project.
