About the Event

This event is for dietetians and nutritionists who are curious to know how food concepts are deployed in an Ayurvedic clinical set up. It will discuss a personal perspective from two angles - a cancer study and diets prescribed at IAIM Healthcare, Bangalore. 

In the cancer study, it will discuss what strategies are being used to design an intergrative diet, i.e., integration of Ayurvedic concepts and modern nutrition to design meal plans. In the second part it will discuss some recipes and foods that are routinely provided to in-patients at the Ayurveda hospital and deconstruct them from a nutritional perspective.
