Job Summary:
Are you passionate about cooking and ready to embark on an exciting culinary journey? We are looking for a dedicated junior chef to join our team at TDU Bangalore. As a junior chef, you will play a vital role in preparing delicious meals for the communities and contributing to the development and implementation of innovative menus.
Qualification:
Culinary degree or diploma from a recognized institution like IHM preferred/ BAMS degree with knowledge of culinary management
Experience:
Previous experience in a professional kitchen environment preferred
Skills:
Strong culinary skills and knowledge of various cooking techniques
Attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Development and innovation of Innovative recipes / menu.
Basic knowledge about the costing of menu.
Job Responsibilities:
Preparing high-quality meals for 10-15 people, adhering to specified recipes and portion sizes
Ensuring that food preparation and cooking areas are clean and sanitized
Assisting with inventory management, including monitoring stock levels and placing orders as needed
Participating in menu planning and contributing creative ideas for menu enhancements
Following all food safety and sanitation guidelines
Assisting with kitchen maintenance tasks as needed
