Job Summary: 

Are you passionate about culinary innovation and eager to hone your skills in a dynamic test kitchen environment? We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Junior Chef to join our team at Scientific Kitchen TDU Bangalore! As a junior chef, you will play a vital role in preparing delicious meals for the communities and contributing to the development and implementation of innovative menus.

Qualification:

• Culinary degree or diploma from a recognized institution like IHM preferred/ BAMS degree with knowledge of culinary management.

Experience: 

• Previous experience in a professional kitchen environment preferred

  
  

Skills: 

• Culinary degree or equivalent experience.

• Strong passion for cooking and creativity in the kitchen

• Ability to work in a research and development environment

• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

• Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.

Job Responsibilities: 

• Assist in the development and testing of new recipes

• Prepare and cook a variety of dishes for testing and evaluation

• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace

• Collaborate with senior chefs and culinary team members

• Ensure all food safety and hygiene standards are met

• Planning and conducting culinary workshops

• Culinary course development for junior chefs

• Documentation and publishing of the work

• Content development for social media handles

• Assisting with inventory management, including monitoring stock levels and placing orders as needed

• Participating in menu planning and contributing creative ideas for menu enhancements
