Ms Sonia Velarsan wins Best Abstract Presentation at the National Oncology Nutrition Conclave 2024, organized by HCG and the Indian Society of Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition

TDU & I-AIM congratulate Ms Sonia Velarsan, a Registered Dietitian and Program Assistant in Ayurvedic Dietetics, on being awarded the best abstract presentation at the National Oncology Nutrition Conclave 2024. She presented a paper titled ‘Insights from an observational study integrating Ayurvedic and modern nutrition principles for personalized diets in cancer patients’. Sonia’s research, conducted at I-AIM, focuses on integrating Ayurvedic and modern nutrition principles to create personalized diets for cancer patients. Working alongside team members Dr. Megha, Dr. Prasan Shankar, and Dr. Bhargavi N, her work seeks to understand how the principles can be combined, and if the combination can improve quality of life in terms of digestion and associated feelings in cancer patients.
